From Friday's potluck picnic lunch at the Wakefield Schoolhouse to Sunday's Farewell Lunch, join friends old and new and immerse yourself in favorite Folklore Village activities from all eras: music, dance, crafts, games, food, foraging, stories and more.
Jane Farwell and her unique Folklore Village philosophy have changed many lives. Spend time with folks who worked and played with Jane, including Dick Atlee (ME; games and folklore), Bob & Ruth Anne Fraley (OR; English Country dancing), Bill Smith (MI; stories), Bonnie Phillips (NY; creative drama), Doug & Helle Clark (Denmark) and Jofrid Sodal (CO; Norsk atmosphere).

Folklore Village is Hiring!
Folklore Village is hiring for the position of Communications Associate.
This is a part-time position approximately 10 - 15 hours per week, which will include limited weekends and evenings.
Successful candidates will have a background in Communications, and the Visual and/or Graphic arts, Promotions, and/or Marketing.

Folklore Village Centennial Fundraising Raffle 2016
As we celebrate Folklore Village Founder Jane Farwell’s 100th birthday, one of our special events is a Centennial Fundraiser. The fabulous prizes include a Centennial Quilt featuring the Folklore Village schoolhouse motif, 2 passes to a three day festival of your choice, or a weekend vacation to Door County, with roundtrip ferry tickets from the peninsula to Washington Island for one vehicle and two adults. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. The raffle will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016 during the Fall Fundraiser and you do not need to be present to win.
